| Description | A variety of World War Two based exhibits including the Glenn Miller Museum, The Aviation Archaeology Museum, The Home Front and 1940s house, The Summer of ’44 collection, The National Fire Service Museum, The Motor Transport Section, and others. All this based at the former RAF Twinwood Airfield, where Glenn Miller took his last fateful flight from. PLEASE NOTE: Museum opening hours are every Sunday apart from during August when Twinwood music festival season happens, and during the festivals the museums are only open to festival ticket holders. Please phone or check the website prior to travelling to the museum during August. |
