Find out more about the characters and places that are a part of Bedford’s 1000 year history. Each season a range of themed walks are available from 'The Jewel in Bedford’s Crown', to 'I Never Knew That', and 'The Life and Times of John Bunyan'.
These walks take place from May to August on Sundays at 11am, Wednesdays at 7pm and selected Thursdays at 2pm.
Walks for groups can be arranged at anytime of the year including the very popular Ghost walks which are available from October to March.

Most walks last approximately 90 minutes and are suitable for those with limited mobility though wheelchair users should notify Tourist information Centre staff when booking in order that adequate routing provision can be made.
NB Walks will take place in all but the most inclement weather, so it is advisable to wear clothing and footwear suited to the weather
